Press note: successful first big day of the Resurrection Fest 2016

Thousands of attendants gathered on this Thursday 7th July in Viveiro to start the first big day of the festival.

Volbeat have risen as one of the most powerful bands nowadays with a long setlist full of classics, undoubtedly recognized by Michel Poulsen’s voice. Bring Me The Horizon returned to Viveiro with a bigger show than ever, showing why they have topped the popularity rankings after their last record “That’s The Spirit”. Bad Religion, punk legends, couldn’t fail to give us a musical lesson with a very complete set and a visit of our Resukids on stage.

Great moments like the marriage proposal of Crisix’s singer to his future wife in the middle of their show, the madness created by While She Sleeps at the main stage, the fun we had with H2O or Stick To Your Guns, and the brutality we could enjoy with Brujeria or Fleshgod Apocalypse are just some of the ones that all our public could witness this year, a public who has expressed their biggest content in the festival site and on social networks.

Tomorrow we’ll have the second big day with The Offspring as headliners. Our French friends Gojira, a band especially loved by Resurrection’s fans, will present their new album “Magma” and will compete with Hatebreed to get the most brutal show of the day. We wait for you in Viveiro!
