Resurrection Fest Estrella Galicia 2017 is over, thank you!

Hello! Resurrection Fest Estrella Galicia 2017 has finished!

Firstly, we would like to congratulate all of you. Your behaviour has been excellent and civilized, and you have shown your excitement for having fun, something both the staff and the bands have seen, making each concert the most special one in their tours. You are the best crowd in the world! You keep coming from hundreds and thousands of kilometers from all over Spain, Europe and all the other continents to spend the best week of the year and we hope it will be like this forever. Secondly, we would like to thank all the professionals, who are more and more every year, that work hard for this, and in general, everyone who contributed in any way to make this possible. Thirdly, we want to make a special mention of the hospitality and kindness of the people of Viveiro and specially of Celeiro. How they receive all the visitors like they were one more in the family. The village-festival synergy is bigger every year, making Viveiro the capital and home of extreme music. Of course, we also want to thank the bands, who decided to visit Viveiro from far away, and wanted to play more time, play rare songs, etc. All these components have made history once again. We are still an independent festival that is held in a small village called Viveiro, and that makes us special, something few can have.

As you can guess, going from 76 to 100 bands and booking the band with the best live act in the world (and hence the most complicated production process), made us work harder than ever, a real technical and physical challenge. But after seeing your faces and reading your comments, we know all has been more than worth it. Resurrection Fest Estrella Galicia is still the festival we want to attend as public. We want to do things correctly, improving infrastructures, stages, sound, decoration, security, etc. and we are one of the biggest festivals in Spain and one of the references in the European scene, one more time. Rather than just a festival, Resurrection Fest is an experience, a meeting point for friends in a musical and natural paradise, for the whole family. 86475 “resus” are witnesses of this, our most important milestone, the best year for us and we hope it was for you as well.

However, nobody is perfect and there are things to improve. We keep fighting to make everything in the best way possible, but there are always missing things. We count on you to keep learning from this, and like year, we’ll soon publish the feedback survey for attendants to know what was fine, what was not so fine to fix it and to read your comments, in general. We’ll also publish soon the poll to know which bands you want to see in 2018, an edition we have been working on for several months already and we assure you it will be epic.

Twelve years by the music and for the music, twelve years by the fans and for the fans. We hope to increase this number together and to live again the best moments of the year. See you in 2018, see you in Viveiro!
