Finally our BAND CONTEST AREHUCAS RESURRECTION FEST 2016!

One year more, and it has been four editions so far, we would like to give your band the chance of playing at Resurrection Fest 2016. The Resurrection Fest’s Band Contest is here! This time, we are lucky to have one of our sponsors, AREHUCAS, as main partners. The voting process will be done on Facebook and also with a special jury.

Are you interested in the contest? These are the terms and conditions to apply for the BAND CONTEST AREHUCAS RESURRECTION FEST 2016:

• All the bands with styles among rock, hardcore, punk and metal in all its subgenres can participate.
• There will be two stages: during the first one, the organization will filter a number of bands to reach the final. Then the bands selected to play at Resurrection Fest 2016 will be elected in two ways: first, two will be chosen by popular vote on Facebook, and second, a third band will be chosen by a special jury formed by professional musicians.
• Each band must be able to play live one own set of songs of at least 25 minutes where covers and playbacks are not allowed. Orchestrations, samples will be allowed as long as they are part of the show and THEY ARE NOT THE SHOW.
• It is forbidden to ask for votes in exchange for gifts.
• Bands that have played previously at Resurrection Fest thanks to previous RF Band Contests are not allowed to participate
• You must send through the form of the official application of the contest the following data of your band:
  • Members of the band
  • A short biography (if possible, both Spanish and English)
  • Facebook and also Twitter of the band, if had
  • Bandcamp, YouTube, Spotify, Soundcloud or any other media support where to listen the band cualquier otro tipo de soporte donde poder escuchar a la banda.
  • A link for listening the main/most representative song of the band
  • It is mandatory to post the poster of the Resurrection Fest Band Contest on the official Facebook page of the band.
• You can register your band from Wednesday 4th May until Sunday 15th May.
• The Band Contest is limited to bands from Spain, France and Portugal.

Among all the registered bands that fulfill the previous requisites, the festival organization will choose 15. 3 out of these 15 bands will be selected to play at this year’s Resurrection Fest. These 3 bands will be chosen by popular vote on Facebook, and second, a third band will be chosen by a special jury formed by professional musicians. You will be able to vote from Monday 16th May until Wednesday 25th May.

The winners will be announced on Friday May 27th. As prize, these three bands will play at the Chaos Stage of Resurrection Fest 2016.
