We are thrilled to announce the first artists performing at Resurrection Fest EG 2027, which, as a reminder, will take place from June 30 to July 3. 🎫 New festival passes will go on sale next Tuesday, November 10 at 12:00 PM, and in the coming days we will publish all the information regarding ticket purchases.
Out of this edition’s four headliners, three of them will be making history at Resurrection for the first time. On one hand, American band Evanescence, led by the charismatic Amy Lee and icons of an entire generation, will come to Viveiro after selling out their recent Spanish tour in just a few hours after release. Without a doubt, they are at their absolute best and will show it at our festival. The legendary Mötley Crüe, one of the most influential glam metal bands, will rock the main stage to show us what the true spirit of Hollywood-made Hard Rock is all about. Lorna Shore, one of the biggest metal bands of the moment whom you’ve been asking for so much these past few years, will play their only show in the Iberian Peninsula in 2027, headlining Wednesday and promising to be one of the most brutal concerts we’ve ever experienced. Finally, our dearest Parkway Drive are coming home and promise to bring a more incredible stage production than ever for their only concert in the Peninsula this year.
Considered creators of power metal and after selling out large Spanish arenas on numerous occasions, as Special Guest, Germany’s Helloween will step foot in Viveiro for the first time to celebrate their 40 years in music with all of us, featuring a special long-format concert with their vocal lineup commanded by the great Michael Kiske, Kai Hansen, and Andi Deris.
Ten years later and straight from Massachusetts, the party and fun are back—Dropkick Murphys are returning! Let’s go to Boston with them! We will also get to experience Motionless in White’s new album live, having grown incredibly since their last visit to Viveiro, featuring a massive production that won’t leave anyone indifferent! And fellow Germans Kreator are returning to Viveiro after headlining our 2021 limited edition to show us how thrash is done in Europe. Nothing to envy the Bay Area!
There are many more special concerts, like Enter Shikari, who are bidding farewell in 2027, but couldn’t miss Viveiro to say their final goodbye to the Spanish public in their only show in our country, or Cradle of Filth, who will celebrate the 35th anniversary of their second album, “Dusk and Her Embrace,” exclusively for you.
We could keep talking about the 72 bands included in this announcement, but we’ve left the list below so you can discover bands for all tastes. If you’re a fan of classic heavy metal, or more modern sounds like nu metal, metalcore, and deathcore, or if you’re more into hardcore and punk, or love headbanging to stoner rock, or simply love heavy sounds and extreme metal, this will be your festival once again in 2027!
There are still many more artists and surprises to be announced in the coming months, and we’ll be completing the full lineup soon. Grab your pass on Tuesday the 10th and don’t miss our 22nd edition!
