Mastodon, Sabaton, Enter Shikari and many more added to Resurrection Fest 2017

We are pleased to announce some new bands that are joining the lineup of Resurrection Fest 2017. Let’s go!

We start with one of the most long-awaited bands throughout these years and who couldn’t come… until now! The mighty Mastodon will be headliners of Resurrection Fest! They will play tracks from their new record “Emperor of Sand”, which will be released in March, and will offer us big heavy riffs and a setlist full of hits for all our metal fans.

On the other side, one of our favourite Swedes, Sabaton, will bring a full-production show for the very first time in Spanish festivals. They will make us jump with their battle hymns sung by their frontman Joakim Brodén. Everybody with them and their tank!

From UK, 7 years after their first and last performance in the festival, Enter Shikari are back, bigger than ever and with their last album called “The Mindsweep”, ensuring a crazy show for all their fans. One of the thrash metal legends left to play here are our Canadians friends of Annihilator, leaded by the incredible Jeff Waters. They will present their last work, “Suicide Society”, and of course will play the old classics like “Alison Hell” or “King of the Kill” too. Getting to the extreme side, Obituary are coming back with their brutal new album and will headline our Chaos Stage, the brazilians Krisiun are coming as well, and from Portugal, we’ll have Holocausto Canibal and Revolution Within.

From Spain, great bands like Blaze Out, Quaoar, Porco Bravo, Vice Presidentes, Ånima and Late to Scream are joining also the bill.

Finally, we can tell you one of the big names of our warm-up party, our friends from Soziedad Alkoholika are returning to Viveiro with a new album to destroy the stage! One of the best ways to start the fest, no doubt.
